AAPI Heritage Month Spotlight: Health-Ade Co-Founder Vanessa Dew
If you know me, you know how passionate I am about celebrating female entrepreneurship. I love to share stories of business owners who have overcome obstacles, navigated career pivots, and embrace their voice with confidence.
Vanessa Dew, the Co-Founder, and CSO of Health-ade (Kombucha) shares how she navigated her career journey while embracing her true voice and family heritage. In Part One of my three-part series, Vanessa admits that at a young age she was a “denier” of her roots. It wasn’t until her later college years that she had a ‘come to Jesus’ moment that inspired her to love her rich heritage and consciously decided to use it to inspire her success. In the next two episodes of our series, we talk about her career pivot, how Health-ade was born, and so much more! Stay Tuned.

Jordan Scott, Founder, and CEO of the Cobble app set out to help make your "fun planning" easier. Watch this video and you will never have to stress over planning date night again!! Special shoutout to the team at THE BANDITS in the West Village in Manhattan. This bar’s funky throwback vibe is perfect for any night out and has an eclectic menu to match.

In the last and final part of my conversation with Vanessa Dew, we talked about advice she has for other aspiring entrepreneurs and what she would tell a younger version of herself. She talked about how starting an entrepreneur club in school helped her to understand and scratch the itch she had of wanting to build something...
